Around Polynesian mythology, Moko is the lizard god. The '''''mo'o (Hawaiian) is the guardian angel (commonly of wetlands or even a water system bodies) that will require a form of a big lizard, however is every now and agaaround seen in human being form.
Moko' (as well Ta-Moko) occurs as Maori form of tattooing.
